1. Purpose of the Job

Capture confirmed orders, analyses the order and based on that analysis plan the transport according to the inco-terms and transport data in order to deliver the goods as agreed with the customer. Do to so, the transport planner will contact transport providers, local route planners and local warehouses. 


2. Accountabilities

- Capture confirmed orders from order takers with a confirmed delivery date, either in available system or on template. 

- Analyses the order to determine the transport needs for trucks, containers (hand-stuffed or not), loading dates, timeslots, ... according to incoterms, shipping dates and vessels. (for hand-stuffed containers, communicates number containers to the plants for loading plan) 
 
- Communicate to the plant the orders which will require customs clearance in order to inform customs. 

- Based on the inco-terms and customer master data, define for which orders routes have to be planned by Inbev and communicate those orders to the local route planner. 
 
- Determine the transport provider to use, based on transport data base and procurement advice. Inform finance if transport cost has to be invoiced to the customer and check if all required documents can be available in time. 
 
- Communicate instructions to the truck company (or download automatically to transport company) with confirmation on containers, vessels, sea freight instructions and order references. 
 
- Complete the loading plan and send it to the local warehouse for execution. 


3. Qualifications and Technical competencies Education 
 
- High school 

Experience 
- Experience in the Export transport process 

- in working in an ERP environment 

- Experience with SAP transport module 

- in working in a process-oriented organization 

 
Technical Competencies : 
- Knowledge of SAP 

- Computer skills (Microsoft office : excel, word, outlook); 

- Able to work on own initiative and prioritize workload effectively 

- Able to work with different ICT systems 

- Strong knowledge of Export related transport. 

 
Language skills 
 
- Fluent Dutch/French in speaking, reading and writing and communicative English 

- Fluent German in speaking, reading and writing and communicative English
